1 month... already!

We have been pretty busy around here...

Caden, my nephew, is hanging with Carson in the picture above. I just love those boys!

My dad and step mom live in Illinois and came in on Thursday night to meet their grandson for the first time. I was so excited to see my dad with Carson. He was in awe over him and it was so fun to watch the two of them together.

While they were here, Carson had his 1 month birthday. It was time to break out the baseball glove and the onesie sticker. It seems like he is very close to smiling ( a real smile) He is making eye contact and tracking things that go by with his eyes. In the picture below we had just missed a mini smile with the camera.

Carson stretches and grunts a LOT! It is so cute to listen to his noises and watch him gain control of his muscles. We always crack up when he suddenly raises one arm up. We call on him because it looks like he a has a question:)

His eyes are gorgeous. They are big and blue (for now). We have a strong possibility of them staying blue since Chris, his mom and brother along with my mom all have blue eyes. I love staring into his eyes. It makes me feel so blessed.
